Ciputat, Ruangonline.com – Direktur Lembaga Pers Mahasiswa Islam (Lapmi) Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) Cabang Ciputat periode 2016-2017, Daniel Halim Badran siap maju dalam kontestasi Musyawarah Nasional (Munas) Badan Koordinasi Nasional (Bakornas) Lapmi 2018.
Daniel, sapaan akrabnya mengatakan, selain strategi yang matang dan keseriusan, jabatan Direktur Umum merupakan sebuah amanah besar yang harus diemban dengan sungguh-sungguh. Oleh karenanya, butuh terobosan baru agar mampu membawa Lapmi kedepan seperti yang diharapkan.
“Kedepan Lapmi ini butuh kesolidan dan terobosan gagasan baru diranah ke-karyaan,” kata Daniel.
Dengan mengangkat Visi “Lapmi Berintegritas dalam Berdaya dan Berkarya”, Mahasiswa Jurusan Komunikasi Penyiaran Islam (KPI) UIN Jakarta, berharap kedepan jika terpilih, ingin memfokuskan Lapmi dalam memberdayakan sumberdaya manusia dan mengembangkan dalam berkarya. Karena menurutnya, sangat banyak sumberdaya manusia yang dimiliki Lapmi, namun dalam pemberdayaannya masih kurang maksimal.
“Dengan pemberdayaan sumber daya yang maksimal, maka integritas Lapmi dalam berkarya akan sangat mungkin untuk dicapai,” lanjutnya.
Selain itu, ia menambahkan, kesolidan dalam tubuh internal Lapmi juga merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Karena ibarat rumah, internal dalam tubuh organisasi, seperti pondasi dalam sebuah rumah.
“Seperti rumah, kalo pondasinya lemah, rumah itu akan mudah runtuh diterpa angin. Pun sebaliknya. Kalo pondasinya kuat, rumah ini akan kuat diterpa angin bahkan badai besar sekalipun,” ujar Daniel.
Dirinya mengimbuhkan, Dua poin tersebut merupakan pokok penting yang harus dicapai Lapmi kedepan. Karena kedepan, ia berharap, Lapmi tidak hanya menjadi media literasi yang mencerdaskan bangsa, namun mampu menjadi juru bicara Literasi media sosial yang mampu mendorong masyarakat untuk cerdas media.
“Bukan main-main, Lapmi ini kedepan mampu menjadi satu bagian lembaga yang turut berkontribusi dalam mencerdaskan masyarakat dalam bermedia, khususnya media sosial,” tutup Daniel.
